Ben Stiff
Raised on a farm in the UK; Ben’s career journey reads like a movie script. He’s been at the helm of many successful projects, from record breaking charity expeditions, to building and operating award winning businesses.
From the age of only 7, when he started working on a friend’s farm (he promises he went willingly) his career has led him to excel in a multitude of roles across the industries of health, hospitality & events, manufacturing and business management.
Ben’s diverse range of experiences, compassionate understanding of mental health and dedicated drive to help others afford him the perfect blend of skills and experience to successfully lead the team at The Sherwood Foundation as our Founder and CEO.
Jacob Hanley
With whakapapa from the UK & the Caribbean and educated at the University of Chichester; Jacob has realised a meteoric career rise since he landed in Aotearoa New Zealand in 2019.
After travelling and falling in love with the country; Jacob settled in Wellington and rose through the ranks of such key government bodies as the Ministry of Justice, the Office of the Ombudsman and Te Whatu Ora - involved with projects dedicated to uplifting the health and welfare of New Zealanders.
Making a name for himself as a precise & diligent project coordinator; Jacob has been instrumental in the delivery of multi million dollar campaigns to improve the lives of countless New Zealanders.
Jacob now uses his love for structure, organisation, planning and passion for helping others to be a powerful driving force for The Sherwood Foundation as our Chief Operating Officer.
